Dear Laurence
As Chairman of the RAF Welford Historical Society located at the home of the USAF 420th Munitions Squadron at RAF Welford, West Berkshire, I am writing to thank you sincerely for the exceptional work you and your friends have conducted producing the model aircraft to be exhibited at our museum. The finished articles are now on display on the RAF Welford Park airfield diorama along with other aircraft constructed by your model making friends.
We have several photographs of the diorama which I will attach a small selection to this email.
In my letter of thanks to your fellow model makers I have mentioned that your co-ordinator will be extending an invitation to you all to visit our museum where you will be given a very warm welcome. I am assuming you are that co-ordinator.
I look forward to giving my presentation on RAF Welford to your society on Tuesday 8th August.
